The shirtless dude, the amateur artists, the bearded folkies, all better watch their back if they huddle near the new Tisch fountain. No loitering near the million dollar fountain!

The "old" east side of the park is being closed next month to complete the renovations. Wonder if the chess players/drug dealers on 4th and MacDougal know what is coming? I don't condone drug abuse, but these guys have been there forever, and I doubt they know they're about to lose their spots...or perhaps the forces that be will wait til the last minute to pull up the chess tables/drug turf.

I'm want to organize an Un-naming ceremony of schiT Fountatin, to coincide with the whatever ceremony they have for the opening of the park. Anyone else want in?
