out running errands today i noticed that the xmas music was blaring already. decorations up since before halloween, but retailers will have a blue xmas this year indeed. we could see the death of a lot of chains and maybe a lot of the ridiculous retail will disappear. can't say i will miss it.
Someone send in a picture of the giant "Merry Christmas" lights already lit up near Canal & Elizabeth
