Au revoir, Bounce Deuce

As Eater reported last week, Bounce Deuce looked suspiciously closed.

And over the weekend, rather vague confirmation signs went up....

Just closed for the summer...?

Previously on EV Grieve:
RIP for Bounce Deuce, known for "eye candy staff" and plastic tubes of beer?

What a bummer.....you leave town for a few days and the coolest sprots bar in the neighborhood shutters.......

Is there hope for us after all?

from what I heard it was changing owners, and they fired a friend, perhaps fired the staff. maybe you're right, closed for the summer, so they might as well fire the staff so they don't have to pay them while they're closed??

It is permenantly closed..not just for the summer. In the sports vernacular..."it's going, going, gone!" Rumor is that the former owners had some financial problems and have walked away from it. Soon it will be a Chinese restaurant.

Verification that this place is closed forever: today, two workers at the site confirmed that this location is under new owners and it will be opening a Gourmet Food shop! Good riddance to Bounce Deuce which was an annoyance to every resident in the immediate vicinity as well as to passers by.
