it's being taken over by that wonderful little Indian restaurant- Taj Mahal- that was across 2nd Avenue between 4th and 5th Street for over 15 years. Their rent went through the roof, so they decided to move. The place was so tiny it was hardly noticeable, but the food was good, the price was right, the family is nice- and there were never any scary twinkle lights or loud NYU kids.
