The Elephant is serving its second, one-week punishment

The Elephant closed this past Friday for one week... As I reported last month, the Thai eatery on First Street was busted for serving an auxiliary police office who may or may have have been a minor. (You can read that story here.) Manager Adria Jover Sala told me that, as part of their punishment, the restaurant would have to close for two, one-week stints. They closed for one week already last month.



...the sign, though, isn't quite accurate... there's no renovation ... the city doesn't allow for any work to be done while the restaurant is closed, Adria said last month...
