the vid is dated 5.12.10, yet one of those stores, atomic passion, is already gone. talk about the rate of change in the EV...

There is a great portrait of Chloe hanging up at Rue B, a jazz/speakeasy.

shows how young she still is when she says how 'scary' tompkins square was and how nobody went to ave A...'like, before giuliani even'...lol!! sorry, dear, people did go there. we even lived there! but she's cute and her heart is in the right place. nice to see a celeb who isn't a total moron.

I agree with Chloe: Tompkins was scary even in the early 90s! Might not be so scary if you're a guy but definitely more threatening for women.

Cool to see Chloe still loves the EV. My roommate has seen her all over the hood in the last few weeks.

Hey, that's my friend Mike Zohn's shop, Obscuria. Beyond that, while I suppose her heart is probably in the right place, and she makes some reputable points (and I know for a relative certainty that she owns at least one Killing Joke album), I CANNOT STAND Chloe Svegny!!! I know, I know, I'm a dick. Sue me. "I love seeing Patti!" I don't even LIKE Patti Smith and that makes my blood boil. Get over yourself.

Looks like Gothamist is ripping you off (or "biting your steez" as the hip kids say)
