Another brown out: Verizon battles graffiti artists, take two

Back in April, workers painted over all the delicious tags on the Verizon building on 13th Street and Second Avenue... Then, in May, there was an epic bout of tagging...

So, yesterday, Verizon once again had workers paint the 13th Street wall brown... and as these photos courtesy of EV Grieve reader evilnyc show, the brown paint was barely dry before the building was tagged again...

Evgrieve, why are you so keen on graffiti? It's so ghetto.

And I believe it should forver be called graffiti. Tagging just sounds cute, like it's ok.

Yeah let's all go out and celebrate our uniqueness and our NYC pride by spray painting gibberish all over other people's property. I applaud Verizon for not giving into vandalism.

At least if you're gonna tag a wall, draw something cool, like a battle scene from Twilight or World of Warcraft. Every time I venture out of my lair (a.k.a. the control center a.k.a. my bedroom) for a pack of Nabisco Nilla Wafers, I have to walk by this half-ass, uni-color display of someones complete lack of imagination.
