The former De La Vega Museum is now called....

An EV Grieve reader sends along a photo this afternoon of the new signage at the former De La Vega Museum on St. Mark's Place.... freshly painted....

Junk!

Soon to be home to an outpost of the Williamsburg store. This store has nothing to do with the Williamsburg location... they just borrowed the same name...

I thought that's what it used to be called.

That should have been the name when the piece-of-shit De La Vega owned it.

That's a bold heroin pusher, but I think it's just a matter of time till Johnny Law comes a-knockin' on the door.

Really, they need another location? They have at least 1 in Williamsburg now and I'm always surprised at the amount of biz they do, but ... in the EV?

I'm not going to miss the DLV place, but I'm not sure that this is any improvement. Does the EV need another place to bring i,n potentially, more bed bugs?

Thanks, Ant... I didn't even realize there was another location... I changed the post to reflect that....

i stopped in today and there was junk, but clean junk. the guy said he had sold at the 11th street flea, and that he would be operational in a few days.

on the internet i found the following under junk:

97 N 9th St
(between Bedford Ave & Driggs Ave)
Brooklyn, NY 11211

Our new store is now open

Our third store, bigger & better junk for everyone, is now open at 567 Driggs Ave - Open 9am-9pm everyday
