I have seen this guy before - if he catches you taking his picture he asks for money.
A true Cat in the Hat moment. Dr. Seuss would be happy.
If I saw this guy with his cat in the hat, I'd ask to take a photo & would gladly give him money if he said the money will be used for the cat!
There was an article about him in THE VILLAGER earlier this year.
He often hangs out in front of Penn Station and gets a buck from every tourist who snaps a photo, and there are many of 'em. Beats having to work for a living.
Adorable. Maybe I can train my kitty cat to do the same.
there's another guy who does this - only he wears a t-shirt that says 'i've got pussy on my mind.'
