Today's sign of the apocalypse: Chloe Sevigny's 'Shore' thing

[Splash Photos via The Superficial]

Celebrity website The Superficial reports that East Village resident Chloe Sevigny is dating Paulie D, one of the stars of MTV's "Jersey Shore." They were photographed together at the Knicks-Spurs game at the Garden last Tuesday. Despite this, the Knicks won.

We've forgiven her for this ... but this?

If she was going to date anyone from Jersey Shore, I think Pauly D is the best choice. Seriously, at least it's not The Situation.

Perfectly suitable match far as I can tell.

WSJ noticed this the other day perfectly: "That's not a fashionable front row. That's a 'Cannonball Run' sequel."

She needs to stop exploiting the East Village by using it as a backdrop for her own false identity in fashion photo shoots. She has a lot of nerve capitalizing off of us!

Who knows maybe she'll move to Jersey.

I realize that many people consider this woman some sort of icon for the ages but really what is so great about her. That is not a question.

I've never forgiven Cloe for wearing a sweatshorts jumpsuit with Roman sandals:

If she joins the community board, I might consider forgiving her. Otherwise, nada.

I really don't care who she dates, what she wears or which characters she plays. She's an actress. Thats her work.
I agree, I don't like the fashion shoots.
As far as the community board goes. Are you kidding me!
I heard that her brother is one of these club/restaurant people. I think that she wants to be on the community board for her own personal interest.

Lots of people are on the community board for their own personal interest and could care about the community at large.
People like Ariel Palitz, an EV club owner who just happens to be on the CB3/SLA committee will vote in anyone wishing to acquire a liquor license.
She's also in the Nightlife Preservation Community (NPC). You understand its her job to promote nightlife, so of course she's gonna vote everyone in.
Here's an old quote from an EVGrieve blogger.
"This woman on the community board, Ariel is a real sour puss. She will support anyone who wants a liquor license. I'm convinced that if Bernie Madoff proposed to open a lounge in a resolution area and offered as the public benefit free investment advice to local residents she would support him."

Chloe has been quoted as saying how she wants to be involved with preservation and thats good right. There's only one problem though. Fashion photo shoots in the EV are antithetical to preservation in the EV.

Dude they just went to the game together it has nothing to do with people dating. Maybe he even just had the seat next to her. You sick people!
