Under watchful eye of TV news crews, the Icicle Audi is freed

TV news crews are still on the scene of this afternoon's biggest story involving a frozen car... Anyway, the DEP is on East Second Street to repair the underground water break...

Meanwhile, crews moved the Icicle Audi a few hundred feet down Second Second... where several photographers were taking the car's picture...

Wow--the way this story snowballed I was thinking Drudge would pick it up.

OWR, there's no interviewing Icicle Audi. It has passed away. Its soul slipped out the broken hind windshield. R.I.P.

Unfortunately, the lawyers got involved, and muzzled the Icicle Audi's publicity staff. The MO moving forward is "no comment," which is a shame. I was close to getting an interview. Then the lawyers descended. All they're doing now is OK-ing merchandising deals and TV appearances. Word is Icicle Audi has a cameo on "Blue Bloods" and will present an award with Lady Antebellum at the Grammys.
