VH McKenzie said...: I walked by Cochise around 2pm on Avenue A just a few blocks north of this spot (I recognize his outfit).

He gave me a big smile with wide-spread arms. He seemed, um, typically Cochise: somewhat "altered" but mild mannered and non-threatening.
