This looks like Cochise. What is the fire dept. doing on the scene??
Well, they're obviously gently leading the man to an ambulance bound for Beth Israel. Hope it's not something too serious.
I walked by Cochise around 2pm on Avenue A just a few blocks north of this spot (I recognize his outfit).
He gave me a big smile with wide-spread arms. He seemed, um, typically Cochise: somewhat "altered" but mild mannered and non-threatening.
Hope he's ok.
