And now, photos of Ice-T in front of Sunny & Annie's

Today, crews from "Law & Order: SVU" were filming around the neighborhood... in front of Sunny & Annie's on Avenue B at Sixth Street in particular...Not exactly newsworthy given how many times something from the "Law & Order" franchise filmed around here through the years...

Still! It gave us a chance to add to our Ice-T collection... courtesy of Bobby Williams...

I'm sick of "celebrities" and all the people who need to look at them. I wish they would all just go away.

@ evilsugar and Larry Slade, you see all those people standing around on the lower picture? They are people, probably New Yorkers, being paid union wages to work on the production. TV series employ scores of people and pay them pretty well. When Law and Order was cancelled lots of New Yorkers including some of your neighbors lost there jobs. So are these productions occasionally a PITA? Yes, but in the big picture they are good for a lot of people.

Actually, Kurt, I worked Background on this show last Friday so you don't have to tell me that.
I worked on Smash a week ago. It was fun.

I didn't complain about location shooting, that never bothers me, I was just commenting about the way we worship "celebrity", I know that it's part of the mix of mass corporate entertainment, but I find a lot of it quite twisted.

Meanwhile I hope all these NYC shows are successful and have long runs. I glad I don't have to watch them.
