And corner columns! I always loved those, used to still be a lot of them around when I first moved to the EV, but now they've all been enclosed. They always gave a nice open feel to the storefronts.

So I don't completely get that projecting ground-floor window thing...were they selling directly to the street? It almost looks like it was there so people could pull up to the window from the curb.

in 1914 there was nothing to pull up to the curb, less you were 1%

I wonder if the awning was down and those hideous tiles were stripped there would be any traces of the 14th Street Cafe...
