Oh My God!
I edited that piece for MTV News
thank you Grieve
I no longer had a copy of it
as I was hired for Vacation Relief for the original editor of MTV News by Dave Sirulnick.
Tabitha was hired during my tenure as Kurt's editor.

Whatever happened to Kurt Loder. I suppose we'll see him one of these days on EVG's around the neighborhood segment.

Two memories of Johnny Thunders:
A wonderful guy I once worked with had a passion for rock and roll and a taste for heroin. He went to see the Heartbreakers one night, knowing the music but not the faces. When the band hit the stage, he said, “Hey, I know that guy!” Apparently they copped at the same hole in the wall on 2nd Street.
A couple of years later, Thunders was booked at the Ukrainian National Home. The tickets and posters read “Midnight sharp.” I figured that the venue had laid down the law to the boys in the band and that the show would go on as scheduled. Well, when they walked onstage at maybe a quarter to two . . . they were great.
