Why is there a turtle in the tree?

Anonymous 12:43,
It's a result of the ongoing turtle wars at the 9th Street Community Garden.

Oh, SO not fair! I NEVER see a hawk in that park, no matter how often I look, and here Bobby is getting TWO of 'em!

Gojira, go to Washington Square Park sometime and you may see the two who live there; Rosie and Bobby. They have a nest outside the NYU president's window at Bobst Library. I document them in my blog. You can often find them in the trees and perched on the buildings surrounding the park. :)

Thanks, Roger - have actually seen one WSP hawk several times, but have yet to see my local guy. So frustrating! But will def. check out your blog. Hawks 4-ever.

There's usually a hawk in TSP between 3-6pm. Saw one today just before the weather turned. Stand still for a few minutes and they'll likely find you. :)
