Besides the Boulton & Watt’s signature mason jar pickles (in seasonal varieties such as pineapple with habanero, mint and basil and beets with peppercorns and red wine vinegar — $5 each or three jars for $13) and modern classics such as Boulton and Watt mac and cheese (white cheddar persillade bread crumbs, $10) and “The Burger” (house-made blend on brioche bun and fries — $14 and up), new items include a refreshing baby arugula, date and orange salad with lime vinaigrette, toasted pistachio and ricotta salata ($12), soft scrambled eggs (with a side of avocado toast and watercress — $10), an heirloom tomato sandwich that is sure to be a summer favorite (baby arugula, charred red onion, basil, roasted garlic mayo on seven grain toast — $10 or $12 with bacon) and the intriguing “Hangover” (two fried eggs, cheddar, avocado, bacon, chipotle aioli on seven grain bread - $12), the perfect pick-me-up after a late East Village night.

After I win Powerball and go on a celebratory month-long bender I will be sure and check this place out, because I will finally be able to afford it and I can avail myself of the Hangover. Wow, can't wait.
I miss Nice Guy Eddies. Specifically, Pre-2010 Nice Guy Eddies, when the service was good and they showed Eagles games on the big TV.
Its 2014 and everything is expensive - if after paying your under market rent in a controlled/stabilizeed apt you are living off noodles and dollar.pizza maybe you need to reevaluate what you are doing these prices aren't bad.considering how much ingredients cost and how much it costs to run a place-

It makes sense that you would be attracted to the consistent and the gratifying, since you have a narcissistic personality that was created by inconsistent, frustrating parents. ou may be a "native" but you help the destruction of your neighborhood due to your lack of empathy, sense of entitlement, and contempt for those beneath. You are the perfect customer for this establishment. And I guess middle-class and working- class don't pay taxes. Only the riches are allowed to lunch and dine in your NYC. Interesting - 9:54 pm can you read? I stated that my family gave no money and as I stated they passes away and it was a long time ago. I funded myself. At least read the comment before you respond. $12 is now luxury apparently. I didn't realize that. Now I know how to categorize my purchases. Thanks

Is this place any good ? Is it worth the money? Is it too expensive considering what they serve? Can these comments stay on topic? Is it too expensive for the location? I wish nice guy eddies was still there.
Sadly, the outdoor-seating area has ZERO ambiance.
so, I never visited nice guy eddie's so can I complain at a new place? Look, whatever your budget, 15.50 to get a cheeseburger is a change in the normal price of offerings of the E. village. I mean, it's more expensive. $17 Fish tacos are also pretty steep.
Now, clearly they are going for a different clientele, but a joint named 'Boulton and Watt' just seems to me to have a Murray Hill style ring to it. They have done their homework, there are richer young people Living in the neighborhood, and ,of course, they are not working in the neighborhood. They are charging accordingly.
I'll never go there, I know that. I'll go to Paul's get a burger as good, or 90 percent as good, support a longstanding joint, and save my money for drinks a little less expensive than BW later in the evening at a nice place. Will douchebags frequent BW? Remains to be seen
