That stinking feeling

At about the 60-minute mark of today's World Cup match at the Brazil-friendly Miss Lily's 7A Cafe.

Final: Germany 7, Brazil 1.

I'm glad Germany won, as a few weeks ago Goldman Sachs put out a report predicting that Brazil would win. If Brazil were to win the tournament, they'd have their snouts pointed high in the air.
The week after the GS report, The Economist rebutted it saying that a European team would win.

Guy in the plaid shirt and guy with black baseball cap, are they watching the game or the blonde? Blonde 7, World Cup 1.

Brazil's huge loss proves once again The Züm Schneider Law of Drunkodynamics: the more German beer that Züm Schneider customers drink, the bigger the loss for the other side.

7-1?! There must have been a point where Brazil just gave up.

Has Brazil tarred and feathered the goalie yet? Given how passionate people are about their futbol games it would not surprise that much.

goalie?

It wasn't the goalkeeper's fault. The whole Brazil team, esp. the defenders, were in disarray, not to mention Germany just played superbly, tactically, and were more organized. Yes, fans are "passionate about their futbol" This isn't some American sport (or war) where everything is just about winning and scoring at all costs and can't stand losing that they put the blame and look for a scapegoat to just one person. U.S.A. U.S.A. You believe that you will win.
