It's been a year since that "genius" advertising campaign of theirs??? Holy shit, I'm getting old. In my head, it has been maybe 4 months or so.

I wasn't such a fan of this place then I got into the biscuits. But it's a little weird that they are shutting down to celebrate their anniversary amongst themselves. Why not celebrate with everyone in the neighborhood and offer a special deal for the day or something? It would be a way to bring in more business and the customers are the people who make a business a success.

I wasn't expecting to like this place - looks too self-consciously hip, not a big fan of (what you yanks call) biscuits, but the food is delicious. The scotch egg is better than any I've had in Scotland! Strange to close on their birthday, but nice that they're doing something for the staff.

These biscuits suck. I'm from the South, so I've done the research.

I love you, East Village Today! I mean if you're a girl, because I'm not gay or anything, except for that one time during pledge week.

Maybe they ran out of flour again. Or maybe Empire Biscuit just isn't as into all you East Villagers as you thought.
