Discarded Citi Bike of the day

Abandoned Citi Bikes have been a common sight these past, oh, 17 months… this one atop the temporary boilers on East Sixth Street at Avenue C took a little more effort, though… (unless it fell) …

Well wottinthell did you expect?....

...FIRST you take away the valet service. (And I don't think you understand what that did to my psyche.....I was TRULY lost!)

...SECOND, where in the HELL are all the docks??? (And remind me.....what EXACTLY do they look like?)

...THIRD, I was told that we had to do 20 shots of Jagermeister and dry run SantaCon. (So, maybe I shouldn't have combined it with Southern Comfort shooters....and something about little pink pills around midnight.)

...FOURTH, I was told this was the experimental docking dump (....some kind of new REQS metal recycling service, err sompin'.)

Man, I'm going to have to quit this weekly Friday night debauchery.....WHAT??? It's SUNDAY???

Oh FUCKKKK!!!

Why is it that things that work in other cities and especially European cities work so well but here they implode.. is it that this city is filled with more assholes than it should be?
Glad I got out this thing, my own bikes take me where I need to go and can park them anywhere

So tragic. Dreams of roaming mountain trails dashed; the reality of shuttling suits from Ave B. to Astor Place was just too much to bear. Did it leave a note?

ShutUpHooker - I wouldn't say bike share programs have worked well in European cities across the board:: Back in the 90's there was a bike share program in Amsterdam and I can remember quite a few of them drunkenly ridden into the canals. In fact, I think they used to call them "canal bikes". And more recently there was a backlash in Paris against the bikes by young immigrants who saw them as something aimed at moneyed Caucasians and not at them.

Bingo! A LOT more.

Hey 12.44. Nice. A keeper. Still laughing. BTW, when I'm riding at Minnewaska or Mohonk and if I see one of these Blue Demons on the trails, I will end it all.

Huzzah! Their valet service is back!

I love these rainy days because there are so few Blue Demons on the street. So much for CitiBikes being a viable mode of transportation. A little rain and suddenly the trains start looking really good!

Adult diapers look cooler than these junky pieces of mediocrity.
