I'm just waiting on the paint to dry

Workers are painting the landing at 96 St. Mick's Mark's Place ... a stoop made famous, in part (as well as this), by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards in the 1981 video by the Rolling Stones for "Waiting on a Friend."

EVG regular Bill the Libertarian Anarchist mentioned this ... and one of the workers said that the Stones would have to come back to do an updated version...

And might as well...

Previously on EV Grieve:
I'm not waiting on a lady...say, what the hell is Mick wearing anyway?

Stoop: To lower one's moral standards so far as to do something reprehensible. For example, representing New York City three weeks after moving here.

stoop: stairs in front of your building on which you sit and heckle people; for example, someone representing new york city three weeks after moving here.

Why blue columns why?

Note how much neater & cleaner the block looked back then.

Back when New York was truly the greatest city in the world.

I love when Keith walks past the old International Bar (& Grill)!
