Now that Gothamist is being bought by DNAInfo and the radical right-wing Ricketts family who once tried to take down Obama, EV Grieve is one of the last good places to get local coverage, especially on the real estate front. Gothamist deleted at least 5 articles (along with all the comments) that were anti-Ricketts before the sale, most of them about how they were spending their money to destroy Obama. We are living in an age of power-hungry activist billionaires literally controlling the media by buying it and deleting the stuff that makes them look bad. The richest people always have the tenderest and thinnest skin. Luckily we still have EV Greve, so lets appreciate what we have before some billionaire comes along and hits the delete button.

The net will look and operate in a drastically different way by the time Drumpf and his like in Europe, China and India change ALL the rules/regulations/rights-holdings that currently guide its behavior.

We are not citizens in their world, only consumers to be guided by their "gawd-given" right to rule. They only believe in Corporate Constitutions. Power only goes to the Right People, too many of whom seem to believe in some kind of Armageddon Road that they are simply fulfilling their parts as assigned by THE Superior Creator.

Organize folks! Organize like never before. And PLEASE support your local journalists. Local courts and council meetings across the US are going unobserved by any one from their communities like never before. That fact alone rips right at the CORE of American history.

The Vanishing New York is out in July ... it's available for pre-order now wherever books are sold (like McNally Jackson)
