Okay I would never go to a place that sells bbq but I'm glad this place is here. Not everyone wants or can afford "chef food" or whatever the hottest thing to float across the East River from Brooklyn or some form of frozen treat which has been beat up, forced trough a horse's hoof and rolled in a bed of kale. It's where visitors from LI felt comfortable eating and food portions are buffet scale. We all want diversity right, well this place offers that and brain freeze drinks too.

The BBQ offers something that everyday people want and that is why it has outlasted some of these chef driven, fancy pants joints that open and close left and right.

I've always thumbed my nose at this bbq, but as others say, this is probably the only affordable eats around without the pretentiousness of all the restos...err gastropubs and brostaurants and that have opened up.
