I'd like to see your permit for this shoot please.

I hope she gave Dr. John some spare change at least.

I once saw one of these photo shoot in Chinatown whereby both the photographer and the model were blocking the Chinese vendor selling his fruits in a small stand and the sidewalk (and it was raining) so people had to avoid them and go to the street where there was a puddle/flooding). One could see that the vendor, grinning and was very uncomfortable and agitated but did not say anything. So I tried to take a picture of them doing this photo shoot. And when one of the women in the photoshoot posse saw me taking a picture, she sidled up to me, to which I say "is there a problem?" She said "yes," in French accent (yes I had to include that to point that most of these are foreigners, tourists, or out-of-towners), that that was a private shoot, So, I go "do you have a permit to do this shoot in a public place while blocking and interfering with that guy's business". She just smirked and walked away and continued with the shoot.

I am really tired of these folks treating the public sidewalks as their own personal private gallery or catwalks. It's irritating and aggravating when you're just trying to go for a nice quiet walk or do your errands and day-to-day activities. They think the residents and locals and their lives are there for their entertainment and amusement and have this sense of self-entitlement, that they can do anything they want whenever they want. Hoping and praying for some sort of comeuppance, divine intervention, Schadenfreude, and/or karma to them one of these days.
