And I'd be lying if I said he wasn't one of the reasons I moved to Brooklyn in September.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5694390946037511355.post-79973552468456841172010-12-20T11:27:33.517-05:002010-12-20T11:27:33.517-05:00I used to enjoy his music, but he really does seem...I used to enjoy his music, but he really does seem to play the same songs, over and over, and over and over.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5694390946037511355.post-39671048797051317042010-12-20T10:21:41.966-05:002010-12-20T10:21:41.966-05:00is this the guy who's been playing at the same...is this the guy who's been playing at the same exact spot...often playing the same exact song for days on end...since the spring? the guy I'm talking about was terrible at the start of the year, and during the summer, too, but suddenly got a lot better this fall. maybe it's two different players?

as somebody who lives nearby, I truly wish he would locate somewhere else for a while. hearing him playing every morning when I wake up, every evening when I get home from work, and every weekend day--and for weeks, sometimes months, on end the same damn song, over and over and over and over--the charm kind of wears off. 'laura', 'over the rainbow' and 'jingle bells' are now pretty much permanently hardwired to the annoyance node in my brain.JMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09876016557456927299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5694390946037511355.post-53472139285140683562010-12-20T09:40:33.863-05:002010-12-20T09:40:33.863-05:00a man who makes the east village truly great.a man who makes the east village truly great.glammanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5694390946037511355.post-78597212445245718642010-12-20T09:17:24.929-05:002010-12-20T09:17:24.929-05:00Thanks for sharing this - the park looked pretty d...Thanks for sharing this - the park looked pretty decent back in the day, all things considered.VH McKenziehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15758245677856344651noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5694390946037511355.post-18703532598685485362010-12-20T05:32:31.294-05:002010-12-20T05:32:31.294-05:00Amazing. He's still pretty good. Damn. I'm sure I've listened to his ancient ESP lp but I never knew he was missing.

There's a ridiculous interview by Rev. Bill Jones with Logan here: http://www.sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.asp?SID=10180811720

Apparently, if I've read the WMFU article, comments, and links correctly, Logan was "found" when someone googled him and found that interview and then tracked him down. (Jones is, um, hazy, at best about Logan's career.)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5694390946037511355.post-73356474056622723572010-12-20T01:43:40.664-05:002010-12-20T01:43:40.664-05:00So glad you did a post about Giuseppi!
