Good riddance Chase???? Chase is going away and a tower will come in, maybe a dorm. More people to the already overcongested St. Marks Place. More people, less goods and services. Let's be careful about what we complain about. About a week ago, it quit dispensing cash. I guess the closest Chase ATM is now the Duane Reade on Ave D & Houston, and a live teller is all the way over on Bowery and 1st St.Laura Goggin Photographyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15517481509431547970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5694390946037511355.post-85435840744577428502016-01-19T11:28:41.794-05:002016-01-19T11:28:41.794-05:00Icon Realty has a new commercial advertising what ...Icon Realty has a new commercial advertising what they'd like to see in this space:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGAiW5dOnKo
Shawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15395915435209482109noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5694390946037511355.post-40277180678762866012016-01-19T10:57:45.402-05:002016-01-19T10:57:45.402-05:00nygrump, I hope you are wrong but my own grumpy si...nygrump, I hope you are wrong but my own grumpy side thinks you may be spot on.
I like this building and hope it doesn't get fucked over like so many of these 1920's building have. If zoning doesn't now allow, don't worry, it will. They'll do to 2nd Ave what they did to 3rd.nygrumpnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5694390946037511355.post-30490999101064604672016-01-19T10:44:06.091-05:002016-01-19T10:44:06.091-05:00Wonder who the math wiz is at Chase. Wonder how much they are losing in after hour ATM fees? I frequently leave without money because either the 2 machines are out of money or the line is too long. Might be time to switch banks.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5694390946037511355.post-80886990725370290552016-01-19T09:13:49.262-05:002016-01-19T09:13:49.262-05:00while closing one branch on st marks, chase also c...while closing one branch on st marks, chase also closed two of the four teller widows and generally have one teller working at the 10th street branch. then they put in barriers for the lines. and there are almost always lines of unhappy customers. people don't seem to like the new automated machines and at one point they had a dedicated worker trying to get people to use them, and/or to explain them.
they could have at least left space for 4 tellers. how many people lost jobs for this "improvement"?blue glassnoreply@blogger.com
