Longing for nostalgia doesn't negate the fact they provided bad customer service, stocked books that catered to their own narrow niche, and were reluctant to do any type of events. It's a textbook example of how not to run a business. There are so many other businesses we've lost that deserve the think pieces. They are not one of them.
