This must be a building that was acquired for a song by a person or entity that doesn't live around here and is profitable even without a retail tenant. <br /><br />Meantime - we locals get to enjoy what became a crust punk recharging station... Which sometimes made me walk down the other side of the street, which is bad for the other retail businesses surrounding said empty space. And ultimately bad for the holdout landlord as the area becomes a little less profitable in general. <br /><br />Greed is a snake that eats its own tail. <br /><br /><br /><br />Business owners and/or businesses without owners (stockholder owned corporations) will shun expenses that overshadow profit...
