Monday's parting shot

An EVG reader shared this from outside the former Ink today ... someone left out a large box of condoms — marked with a "free" sign — here on Avenue A between Fourth Street and Fifth Street. 

Workers were spotted clearing out some of the storefront today... and this makes for a thoughtful parting gift.

Condom trucks look as annoying as food trucks

As Runnin' Scared pointed out last Friday, Trojan's "Good Vibrations Truck Tour" is coming to town. That's right! Vibrator trucks!

EV Grieve reader Stephen Popkin saw these last night on Third Avenue near 34th Street...

They will likely be around the East Village tonight. If they haven't been already.

Per Jen Doll:

These trucks and all the goodness they contain will be in town [last night and tonight], chilling outside of bars in the West Village, Murray Hill, the East Village, the Meatpacking District, the Lower East Side and Williamsburg. Or, as we like to call it, "the Vibrator Hexahedron."

EV Grieve reader Marjorie passes along this ad for Sir Richard's Condom Company spotted on the Bowery.... As she notes, "I'm not sure how well-targeted to the East Village it is. Even post-gentrification we don't send a lot of kids to Collegiate."
