Yes! And do people still have dance parties? Or does everyone just sit around a room wearing their iPods?
They still go to parties, but they don't just sit around. Yes, each wear their own iPods and dance to whatever music their listening to.

Those links made me feel about 100years old...
I may dive into that last shot and never return.
I believe the overshot is the south side of 10th Street between 3rd and 4th Avenues. I grew up on this block and was born the year this photo was taken.
