Meat coming to the southwest corner of 14th Street and Third Avenue
We've been wondering what might be coming here to the former Robin Raj space... And Patrick Hedlund at DNAinfo has the answer: An outpost of 5 Napkin Burger, or a variation of it.
Rebecca Marx at the Voice last week named the 5 Five Napkin veggie burger as the best in the city.
Meanwhile, this is NOT their veggie burger:

Go on Yuppies eat your soulless burgers and designer fries but soon your capitalist system will melt down like a cheesy gooey slice of swiss!
ReplyDeleteLOL... what does one have to do to a burger for it to have a soul?
ReplyDeleteAre Paul's burgers holy?
How about one from Veselka's [it tastes soulful with some sauerkraut -or maybe its just gas]
Of course the Communist way of life you seek wouldn't redistribute the wealth ... you'd just be standing in line for the bread and nothing to put in between them.
At least they're not tearing the place down to build yet another hideously ugly glass penis - er, condo tower.
ReplyDeleteI SOOOOOO want a decent burger place in the EV. None of the new places are any good, Veselka is the best (well, The Telephone was really the best...) but a bit greasy and the rolls are tough, Dallas BBQ are tolerable but nothing special, Paul's steams them till they're gray...maybe this will be the place!
