Per the Lo-Down:
Jones said the one-night permit had initially been approved because the address on the application was incorrect. He confirmed that permit has now been rescinded and there is no active liquor license at 47 Avenue B. The 9th Precinct has been advised of the situation, he said.
Previously on EV Grieve:
Le Souk is 'exceptionally back to its former location'
Is this your final answer??
ReplyDeleteDear lord let this be true!
I guess that means I won't have to bust out the rooftop hose and water balloons for New Years.
ReplyDeleteDamn.
i believe this calls for a... woo-woo! i live a block away!
ReplyDeleteSo i guess LES JEWELS and company will be slumming at a bar near ave A this year
ReplyDeleteThank goodness my leak to you turned out to be true. I hate it when I start a rumor and it gets rescinded. So embarrassing to my anonymous reputation.
ReplyDeleteLook at EVG with the scoop. You go on with your bad self.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the neighbors of this venue. I went there once. Against my will. A stupid golf acquaintance of mine, heck who I don't even speak to anymore, full on begged me to come to his stupid birthday thing at this la souk, he was sooo excited about it. Total bridge/tunneler. Had a lousy time, got subjected to the awkward sight of birthday boy getting cheesy with a belly dancer and to top it off that night I also caught a bad flu that knocked me out for a week. so i never particularly cared for that place.
Couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch of guys. Nice try filing with the wrong address.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw this I contacted them about my party and was told fuck them party is on
