Two of the only affordable places to eat along Avenue B temporarily shuttered
Plumbing issues shuttered China Wok and Cafe Rakka yesterday on Avenue B at Third Street...

Thats too bad, Cafe Rakka is great, but that guy works like 24/7, so maybe the break will be good for him. There are still some non outrageous options along this stretch.
ReplyDeleteI disagree that these are the only affordable options, in fact most of the places are affordable right in this area. Mamas, Sigmund, Solo Pizza, Snack Dragon, even the little french diner on the corner of B and 2nd. I know you think the hood is gentrifying and pricing you out, but lets not jump ahead too fast and act like all the restaurants on this stretch are Octavia's porch style prices...I like to think I can still get a cheap meal in my area.
