Where's Ben from Neighborhood Barbers?

A reader sends along an email with news that Ben has quit his chair at Neighborhood Barbers on East Ninth Street for a new job. The other barbers won't provide any forwarding information, and the resident would like to find Ben, who has been his longtime barber... Anyone?

  1. Not that I'm happy to see him go... but he was my least favourite of them. Cut me shaving a few times because for some reason he was always in such a hurry.

  2. Ben is the best! (But I like Neighborhood Barber's vibe all around.)

Ben opened his own shop on Avenue A between 13th and 14th. More details (like the address and phone number) after I visit him.

  3. Um, why don't you guys just ASK THE OTHER BARBERS IN THE SHOP where he is?

No one would say where he went.

  5. Umm, Anonymous, perhaps you didn't read before you made your condescending comment so I will quote it here for you:

  6. Yup, can confirm that Ben has his own shop on Ave A between 13th & 14th, in the old massage parlor space. Just got my hair cut by him on this past Sunday...

  7. I like getting my haircut with Ben, I like getting my haircut with Eric (owner) too who has been cutting my hair since his days at Royal on 8th. These things happen with people who are good at what they do. I am happy for Ben and his new business!

  8. Scummy of the current barbers to not provide Ben's info after his years of good services.
