Habibi Lounge hasn't been open lately

Neighbors of this hookah bar on Avenue A between 12th Street and 13th Street haven't seen the place open in several weeks...


...and trash is collecting inside the entryway...


They still have an outgoing message on their answering machine... nothing to show that they have closed appears on the Habibi website...

    I wondered why Habibi had been closed for so long. When I passed by earlier this week the gate was open and on the door was a "seized by Marshal" note with a red shield on it. The trash that had been piling up was also cleared away.
