    Very beautiful. I like the Bean..drinking tea right now for a cold, but when the cold is gone..I am off to the Bean for a great cup of coffee. Good luck in your new spot Bean!!!

    And let's not forget the Crazy Landlord. I hope he cut a deal that works for the Bean, makes him happy, and chips in some tax revenue for the City. Hooray for the Crazy Landlord. Hooray for Everyone!

    $4 / lattes each day are not my thing but I went for one this AM and it was delicious! And the space is beautiful. Why did the CLL take 2+ years to rent it?

    I think The Bean should have someone stand outside Starbucks when they open and offer coupons..Is that too snarky?

    Also, I think it's funny / interesting how you can have 75c coffee immediately opposite yet both businesses will do well.

    We're this nice to an overpriced chain coffee shop that's taking over the East Village with mediocre coffee, but we wish death upon a mom & pop bagel store?? EVGrieve readers, you confuse the hell out of me.

    Of course you are not going to publish that comment since it was not a criticism of a bar or a foodies restaurant. I suppose if the barista was a Midwestern sorority girl, you would be all over it and probably has its own,separate post.
