On Avenue A, lining up to see (OMG!) Austin Mahone

For unknown reasons, Austin Mahone, the 15-year-old Justin Bieber-inspired YouTube sensation, performed earlier this evening at Drom on Avenue A... and there was a line for the performance/meet-and-greet that stretched around East Sixth Street ...

It's OK if you want to press play. You are mildly curious.

  1. Well it's obvious that this is Lady Gaga dressed up as a little boy! What she won't do for attention!

  4. I walked by this and was really confused by all the teeny boppers swarming the sidewalk. Not curious enough to ask anyone, mind you, so thanks for letting us know.

  5. This is what winds up happening to clubs. I saw some good shows there years ago. I guess they book the shows that bring in the dough. The Pyramid club too has way too many all night dance parties rather than cutting edge cabaret. Call the girl who books the shows and tell her to stop destroying the neighborhood.

  6. I just wasted several minutes of my life watching that oddly mistletoe-free video. So many questions ... does this child have a sinus infection? Why is the woman he identifies as his mother old enough to be his great-grandmother? Can someone save that poor dog? And could Austin please stop calling me "shorty"?

Everyone on that line is too dumb to live.
