Wow, a Subway sandwich shop actually closed in NYC

After our post the other day about the new Subway opening on First Avenue, a reader told us that one of the sandwich shops actually closed recently on Madison Avenue...

Sure enough... we found it near 33rd Street...

  1. Great to see one of these shuttered and closed. Hopefully a Starbucks or 7-Eleven won't move in!

  2. You can smell a Subway a block away, and it ain't good, so this part of New York should be smelling a lot nicer right about now. Good riddens!

  3. Aw, why does Touristville get such a nice neighborhood pick-me-up, and we get three new Subways instead?
-My word verification here is "meatmen" - maybe it's trying to provide an answer?
