I happened to be riding by this in a cab to see floor-to-ceiling flames engulfing the entire front window of what I think was a fourth floor unit, just one minute before responders arrived. I was on my bike today, and it looked as though that unit was completely destroyed, with smoke and probably water damage to the bordering units on three sides.

ReplyDeleteI live opposite and saw it. Apparently no one home. I heard could be electrical cause but that is a rumor. I hope the surrounding apartments weren't so damaged. A lot of smoke and water! To anonymous above: I hope your apartment was not greatly affected.
ReplyDeleteMy father lives in the building- Hairdryers and other tools that overloaded a power strip caused the fire.
