I once saw a Cardinal confront a very aggressive Blue Jay. The Cardinal screamed its little head off at the Blue Jay which eventually gave up and flew away. I assume the Cardinal was defending a nest I couldn't see.

ReplyDeleteAWESOME! I've only seen cardinals in Brooklyn. I do know of a good spot in Central Park for catching blue jays though.
