Here's what the Bea Arthur Residence will look like on East 13th Street


Here's a follow-up to the news that the long-vacant building at 222 E. 13th St. near Third Avenue is becoming the Bea Arthur Residence, providing housing for up to 18 homeless LGBT youth.

  1. I noticed that the pictures includes renovations to the building next store. It appears that access to the building next door has been eliminated.

    What will those poor tenants do?

  2. Glad this building is finally being put to use...and such a good use at that! But I wish they could preserve the facade of what really should be a landmarked building
