what a POS he is.
ReplyDeletego ransack some other neighborhood's architectural treasures, your work is done here.
ps. your acting sucks!
you have somebkind of personal beef with the guy?as far as i can tell, this looks a hell of a lot better than the crappy building there before... welcome, david -- and your acting does not suck
DeleteHe actually did a tasteful, nice job!
ReplyDeleteBut why did he not just renovate the existing structure?
THANK GOD this was not glass and steel scum!!!!
Scwimmer you should be ashamed of yourself.
ReplyDeleteWith "Friends" like him, who needs ememies?
ReplyDeleteWhy are my comments not being posted? All I said was I was basically that this looked better than I thought it would at least...
ReplyDeleteWhat ever you have to say.... It could have been a fuck load worse!!!
ReplyDeleteHe'll probably annoy everyone with constant references to his "new pad" that'll drive everybody crazy and Rachel into bed with Paolo again.
ReplyDeleteHe's not going to take residence here. He's renovated it for his monkey, 'Marcel'.
ReplyDeleteHe ain't gonna like the neighborhood welcoming committee!!
ReplyDeleteWhy doesn't he just move to TriBeCa like all the other woohoo's l.... I mean what has he done socially to make anyone think he isn't just some asshole that will pull down a historical building, kick rent controlled oldies people out and had self-entitled fucktard parties whilst his 'friends' laugh at the people on the other side of the wall that can't afford rent...
ReplyDeleteI have to say I'm impressed that the building actually seems to "fit" in. Too bad it's not affordable housing. The neighborhood doesn't need another single family townhouse, it needs housing that MIDDLE CLASS NYers can afford.
ReplyDeleteLooks totally fine to me. Welcome to the neighborhood David....
ReplyDeleteIt's actually much nicer than what was there before. I love the windows on the top floor, and the brickwork is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLooks really good. Have to say, it fits right in and I would not guess that's a new structure. Are you sure that's the right building? If so, I think people were worried over nothing. Yes, the other building was historic, but maybe it was falling down inside and couldn't be saved. I guess if he followed the rules and this is the result, I'm good with it.
ReplyDeleteWhat does he even DO now? Shitty 90's sitcom residuals cant be paying for this./
ReplyDeleteI don't see what anyone see in him he can not act at all the other stars keep his job I don't think he has done anything after friends thank god and I hope he don't.
ReplyDeleteI think the people that are getting angry over this need to realize that for centuries cities have been built, torn down, and built again as new technologies emerged and generations came and went. All these "historical treasures" that people are so attached to are a figment of the imagination. A city like Rome has been built upon itself 20 times over. Renovating 150 year old residential buildings is pointless and illogical in the 21st century...unless that's what you choose to do with your money. But if you choose to tear it down and rebuild, that is perfectly acceptable as well. If anything, the new building is a complete disappointment because it tries to match the context TOO much.
ReplyDeleteGlad I got harassed by construction workers for months for this shit.
