DEAR EVGRIEVE,
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you see the comments but please post another updated story about the NYPD traffic raid spree they had today.
I got stopped this morning on my bicycle at 11am on 1st ave, then on my way home at 6pm saw a car stopped in around the area of 2nd ave and 8th St., and JUST now at around 12:30 am on Tues. I saw in the span of 5 minutes 2 cabs getting pulled over on an (empty) Avenue B between 3rd St. and 5th St. with the cops clearly laying in wait to stop someone.
I don't think its just me as I've seen all day the NYPD circling more than usual looking to ticket for minor (if any) traffic violations that would normally go unnoticed.
What is up with that?
Does the city need an influx of money?
Is it rookie training week?
Did someone issue an order for a traffic violation crackdown?
