The DOB temporarily closed Blue Owl on Second near East 12th Street Tuesday after an inspection yielded 49 violation points, according to city records. Among the violations at the basement cocktail lounge/tapas joint: "Food contact surface not properly washed, rinsed and sanitized after each use and following any activity when contamination may have occurred."
