Katz's ready to celebrate its 125th birthday
[Welcome to Katz's]
Katz's is turning 125 this year... and among the celebrations: On June 2, there's an all-day party at the restaurant on East Houston and Ludlow that will include a pastrami-eating contest, as Zagat reported yesterday. What do you get a deli on its 125th birthday anyway?

Woohoo Par-tay!
ReplyDeleteAren't they supposed to roll menu prices back to 1888 level for the day?
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure there's a law somewhere that old eating establishments have to do that for these milestone celebrations.
There's also going to be a first-ever book published about Katz's. Believe it's due out at the end of the summer.
ReplyDeleteKatz Deli sucks. always has and always will. Second Avenue and Stage ate their lunch, but, like McDonalds, crap usually wins.
ReplyDeleteCrap comes out of every asshole..... as well.
