re: rent stabilized apt. put-up as collateral for bail.
ReplyDeleteThis begs, actually just answered, the question -- can a rent-stabilized lease be treated as an asset? and as per that NYtimes article, if so, then it would make it easier for landlords to evict rent-stabilized tenants if they file for bankruptcy.
The post about See/Hear made me cry. I had forgotten about this place. It crystalizes so clearly the vibe that THIS neighborhood was where I wanted - needed! - to be. I belonged here. These were my people.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how big that apartment was...
ReplyDeleteIt is a studio apt. (very small).
ReplyDeleteI really like that photograph.
