OK, here's 84 Third Ave. without the scaffolding and stuff
Hey! It's our now weekly look at 84 Third Ave., the Karl Fischer-designed 9-story retail-residential complex at East 12th Street… now without any construction netting, scaffolding, etc.
Check it out. It doesn't cost anything to just look…

Karl Fischer-designed? Hell, any toddler with a bunch of blocks could have put together something more visually interesting. I wonder how much extra they paid to wind up with a building that looks like a 1950s Midwestern warehouse?
ReplyDeleteThat's rather hideous
ReplyDeleteI kinda dig the warehouse look. hey it beats that building just to the north on E13th, on the northwestern tip of the Nort West East village. wait, where am I?
ReplyDeleteIt blends right in with the spaceship theater and "b"rutalist dorms on Third. Actually a bit more refined than the others, somehow... was just taking a look this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteRadiates the hideousness of those who spawned it.
