Vivi Bubble Tea coming to East 14th Street
Chinatown-based Vivi Bubble Tea is expanding… with a new shop coming this spring to 226 E. 14th St. (previously a small dress shop) between Second Avenue and Third Avenue… a poster announcing this mentions Gramercy…
Which is confusing. Because everyone knows that this area is either East Union Square … or the Northwest East Village …
Also, the check cashing place next door closed … and that space is for rent too…

...because hey, there is a bubble tea place on 3rd and 12th, and it's absolutely impossible to get a table there, ever (not). so we need another one.
ReplyDeleteWhen the last cash checking place closes our neighborhood will officially become the upper east side.
ReplyDelete@Anon. 9:25 - and don't forget Saints Alp Teahouse, the granddaddy of all the bubble tea establishments in the EV, on 3rd between 9th and 10th.
