Hey, wait a minute — that's not a Citi Bike docking station
A reader alerted us to the fact the the Citi Bike docking station on the northwest corner of Avenue B and Second Street disappeared yesterday… this was before whatever that thing is called in the photo arrived to help resurface the street…

interestingly, the boston / cambridge version of citibike puts its docking stations on the sidewalks!

Please remove the eyesore docking station that IS on the sidewalk on 10th between A and B next, please. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteTake out the station on 6th St between A and B too. Then the rest of them one by one....
ReplyDeleteThey are beyond ugly, just as brutal as the glass towers dotting the area.
I love the docking stations because I love the idea of bikes in the city. Bikes, walking, people, pets, kids...life is better with bikes!
ReplyDeleteThe station at 6&b is being plowed over this very moment!
ReplyDeletePeople love citibike! All the bikes are in their lot on Delancey st
