Noted
Well then! EVG reader Riley McCormick spotted this brand-new signage today in the long-tempty corner space on Avenue A and East Fifth Street.
Likely just an alleged wacky ad for the Bartrendr app.
Still, the sign gives you pregnant pause.

And for added impact — a State Liquor Authority notice...
We'll reach out to the broker for more info on the space... The ads originally stated no bars or restaurants, per the landlord's wishes...

ReplyDeleteI'm still waiting for the first bar where pregnant women are actually giving birth. Only when that happens will the East Village be considered truly edgy again.

ReplyDeleteHolding out for a café where the milk comes straight and are poured or squirted directly from a pregnant or nursing woman's breast. It will be called Mom O Fuk U Milk Bar.
ReplyDeleteWould love to know the secret of the mysterious frozen yogurt place that has been next door for probably almost a year now, was rarely open even throughout the summertime, does not seem to trying AT ALL, and has guys coming and going at any-odd times, apparently part of ownership/management, that look like anything but frozen yogurt sellers.
ReplyDeleteThe East Village outlet of the NSA, perhaps?
The 14th Step
ReplyDeleteThe way some of these young women binge drink, I wouldn't be surprised if the next generation of kids all look like Sloth from The Goonies.
